Brendan Delaney

Professor Delaney is professor of primary care (care by GPs and other health professionals working in the community, rather than in hospital) at the University of Birmingham and a general practitioner in Birmingham. He is interested in conditions that affect the upper part of the digestive system. He is a reviewer for the Cochrane library, which collects and analyses research to help doctors put research into practice, and he is the editor of the journal Family Practice.
