Area of expertise: Parkinson's disease

Dr. Clarke is a reader in clinical neurology at the University of Birmingham. Before that, he was a consultant neurologist at the Hull Royal Infirmary. A neurologist is a doctor who specialises in conditions that affect the nervous system.

He has done many years of research into Parkinson's disease, including work on its causes and how to diagnose and treat it. He is currently involved in several large studies with patients of medical and surgical treatments for Parkinson's disease.
